I was hoping to save a fortune by doing all of the hard work myself. I also knew that I did not want to spend a fortune on getting this bike up to par. So I set up a simple budget and put some limits on what I wanted to get for my money. The best part about shopping online was that I did not have to wait for a catalog to show up on my doorstep. I didn't have to deal with annoying sales people either. I wanted to deal with an English speaking support staff if I could help it. My overall experience with shopping for Kawasaki parts online was generally very good.
